How to Stay Connected with Your Provider and the GobyMeds Support Team

At GobyMeds, communication is an essential part of your care. We strive to make it easy, secure, and convenient to stay in touch with your healthcare provider and our support team. Below are the guidelines and preferences for how patients can communicate with GobyMeds for the best possible experience.


🩺 Provider Communication

How to Talk to Your Provider

All communication with your provider is done through your medical chat inside your GobyMeds Patient Portal.

  • Use this chat to ask medical questions, report progress, or discuss your treatment plan.

  • Providers respond to messages directly in the portal.

  • Do not use the chat for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

Telehealth Video Visits

  • Only first-time patients in the following states are required to complete a video visit:

    • Kansas (KS)

    • Louisiana (LA)

    • Mississippi (MS)

    • New Mexico (NM)

    • West Virginia (WV)

  • Patients in all other states will complete text-based consultations via the secure GobyMeds chat system.


📱 Account & Verification Requirements

Phone Number Verification

To create an account and begin care, all patients must verify their phone number.

  • You’ll be guided through this process during account setup.

  • If verification does not work or you encounter an error, please reach out via the chat bubble on our website for assistance.


🔁 Medication Check-ins and Reorders

Reorder Timing

You can reorder your medication approximately 10 days before running out.

  • Log in to your patient portal to view reorder availability.

  • You’ll also receive an email notification when it’s time to check in and reorder.

  • If you need to reorder earlier than scheduled, contact the support team for help.

Check-in Requirements

Reorders require a quick check-in with your provider through your portal:

  • Monthly plans: Check in every month.

  • 3-month bundles: Check in every three months.
    These brief check-ins help ensure your dosage, progress, and safety are up to date.


📧 Email Preferences and Unsubscribing

Managing Email Notifications

GobyMeds sends important updates about your orders, check-ins, and account activity, as well as optional marketing content.

  • To unsubscribe from marketing emails, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing message.

  • To fully remove your email from all non-essential communications, contact the support team for assistance.

Please note that transactional or health-related messages (such as prescription updates or check-in reminders) are required communications and cannot be disabled.
