💉 How to Take Your Sermorelin Injectable

Your Compounded Sermorelin Injectable from GobyMeds is designed to support healthy hormone balance, improve sleep, boost metabolism, and enhance recovery. Proper administration ensures safe and effective results.

🩺 General Guidelines

Read the Instructions Carefully

Always review the instructions provided with your medication. If anything is unclear, contact your GobyMeds provideror our support team before injecting.

Dosage and Administration

Your prescription will specify your dose in milliliters (mL) or units. Follow your provider’s instructions carefully.
Sermorelin injections are typically administered once daily for 5 days on, often in the evening before bedtime, to align with your body’s natural growth hormone release. Following 5 days, most individuals will take 2 days off of the medication, but make sure to follow the instructions provided with your prescription.

🧰 Preparing for Your Injection

Gather Supplies

  • Sermorelin vial

  • Syringe and needle (typically a 1 mL insulin syringe)

  • Alcohol pads

  • Sharps disposal container

Wash Your Hands

Clean your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling your medication or supplies.

Prepare the Injection Site

Clean your injection site—usually the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm—with an alcohol pad and allow it to dry completely.

Prepare the Vial

  • If it’s your first use, remove the outer metal cap.

  • Wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol pad and let it dry completely.

💧 Drawing the Medication

  1. Insert the needle into the vial’s rubber stopper.

  2. Turn the vial and syringe upside down.

  3. Draw the prescribed dose into the syringe.

  4. Check for air bubbles—tap the syringe gently to move bubbles to the top, then push the plunger slightly to expel them.

💉 Administering the Injection

  1. Pinch the cleaned skin area.

  2. Insert the needle at a 90-degree angle (or as directed by your provider).

  3. Slowly push the plunger to inject the medication.

  4. Withdraw the needle and release the pinched skin.

  5. Dispose of the syringe safely in a sharps container.

❄️ Storage

  • Refrigerate your Sermorelin vial between 36°F–46°F (2°C–8°C) when not in use.

  • Remove the vial from the refrigerator a few minutes before injecting to allow it to reach room temperature.

  • Do not freeze.

  • Store upright with the cap tightly closed.

  • When traveling, keep the vial in an insulated bag with a cold pack to maintain temperature.

🕒 After Your Injection

  • Record your date, time, and dose in a log or tracking app.

  • Monitor how you feel—many patients notice improved sleep, recovery, and energy over time.

  • Contact your provider if you experience irritation at the injection site, dizziness, or other concerning symptoms.
